The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

just thought i'd ask everyone what everyone has any views on what will happen with the breakfast show. If you don't know chris presents the breakfast show with tony blackburn. And although it isn't called the chris moyles show. What things do you think will be on the show. And what things do you think will be on the show.

My views on this are.
-as much as i enjoy it. I don't think the good morning theme music will be used on sunday.
-chris won't open the show. Which is ok
-i hope they play chris's gingles. They are far in a way the best gingles in radio or t.v.
-is the rest of the team going too be there. Would love too have ramble at 9 as usual and ramble.
-hope they do some of tony blackburn's features as well. Blend the old with the new,

Obviously this is just my view. If anyone has any other views. Lets see what people think.

I'd imagine that Mr Blackburn will open with his original line ("exciting new sound of radio one"). It will probably be a look back at the last 40 years of the breakfast show, maybe how its changed etc?

I doubt it will be the same style as Chris's show, more of an interview with Tony maybe? Does anyone know if its recorded or live?

as far as i'm aware it's live. They are doing a live webcam from 7am till 4pm.
I don't think they will be looking at the last 40 years. Reason being is at 1pm. Coxey and zoe ball are presenting a show highlighting their times from the breakfast show.
Could it be a moyles style show. Didn't tony come in as a guest one week when dom was on paternity leave.

I remember Tony coming in, I dont remember much about it though, other than Chris getting all excited.

If they are doing a live webcam, then that must kinda prove that its live - i just couldnt imagine Chris coming in on his day off.

I know Coxy and Zoe are doing a show (which I think I heard advertised as the Cox and Balls show) but i'm thinking the whole day is going to be dedicated at looking back at the last 40 years. Meh, it should be worth listening to anyways.

chris is free lance. And salaried. So i guess either he will get a bonus. Or he has been forced too work. My theory is that chris would of volenteered too do the show. It would be a privalage too work with tony blackburn

It'd be great if they played the several minute spectacular from Chris's first breakfast show which featured audio of old DJs and I think if somebody doesn't clip the whole thing on Sunday then it is likely to be requested in years to come just like the first breakfast show was (in its entirety!)

I shall be tuning in certainly.

No, he's just freelance. Monies paid to an artist within this type of arrangement does not constitute salary. Salary is what people who are directly emplyed receive.

It can also be used to distinguish between people who are paid a fixed amount per year and people who would vary dependant on the amount of work they do.

That's how I've always used it. I didn't know about Yudster's definition.
