I'd back that idea.

similar to Scots "The Wonder Years" - plus, as I think someone else has said, I could see Moyles being up for it.

Thanks viv, it would be a lot better if I had something more advanced than 'paint' tho'

I'm sure you could do it if you tried.

Its just the original radio 1 logo, the latest (proper) radio 1 logo and some writing in between, and using good old advertisers trick 'white space', then adjusted to fit in with the forums sig rules, (using the 'attributes' key).

And scamp88, this new site is much easier than before, you can get pics off your own 'putor now.

I must admit, my favourite sig(s) on here are foot-loose's.

I second that, Walter!

As for the Golden Hour -- I like it! It was great on Monday when he started out w/a CLASSIC Stones song! Maybe 1 day a week would be good after the whole 40 years celebration is over.

I'd definately go for that. Mills has the firday night floor fillers, Moyles could have maybe only half an hour of old music....An hour does seem a bit too much...the golden half hour just doesn't have the ring to it though.

Also I harldy think "Chris has his feet up on the desk" or whatever it was that was said. It's all Moyles, he picks the songs which is why we get some random tunes in there which we may not all like (Betty Boo I ask you) but the way he enthuses over some of the songs is great. If It was some guy just saying "And there was the communards, but in which year did they release that song?" It'd wouldn't be anywhere near as good.

Moyles makes it great.

I love the golden hour and I think it should continue, I listen when I'm cashing up my tills at work and I love being able to sing along to all the songs.

I like Chris and I enjoy the oldies as much as the new stuff, in some cases more than. Your arguement makes no sense, as far as I can wort out from this thread you're in a minority with your hatred of this feature. It will end once the celebrations are over but until then enjoy it for what it is and try to stop moaning about it! As Chris says, if you don't like what you hear then turn off the radio!

Mind you I'm all in favour of a Pants show to tell the truth?

All the team turn up in their undercrackers and...well that's about as far as the idea got really.

Well Carrie and Rachel more really, but if the price for that was Moyles in his pants then so be it....I've seen worse.

I don't like the idea of a crap show nearly as much as a pants show.

I'm sure I used to have to watch the pants show on a Sunday evening, when my mam did the ironing, just before bed time, back in the late 80s

The golden hour, come on guys it makes a change and it's only for 2 weeks, I work in an office and everyone loves guessing the year. It's back to normal next week, so chill people.
