first post here!
hi everyone.
blah blah blah!

i listen every morning at work, keeps me going thru the day but i have been tormented today by one question.....

WHAT WAS THE DIDO - WHITE FLAG REMIX???????????????

no i love when moyles plays bootleg/mash-up track, he played one i did ages ago and it was an honor, but i cant find any info on this track anywhere, and as normal, radio 1 dont seem to get my txs, the late, and VERY great john peel was the ONLY dj to read out one of my txs, and i have it on mp3 now, but anyway, back on point.....

can anyone on here get me a download link, or a place to buy that remix? i have looked on http://www.htfr.co.uk which is where i have found quite a few of the mixes he has played!

anyway, please help me out with some info!

What's a txs? Also, being in Devon I would assume you are English. The word is honour.

If we assumed that everyone that spelt 'through' as 'thru' wasn't English (by which I assume you mean anyone that doesn't speak English as their first language) then most of the teenagers in the whole of Great Britain wouldn't be 'English'.

I think that's the American spelling of 'honor'; the amount of American-ised spellings creeping into general use is getting to be quite annoying.

Young people's spelling today is atrocious; I'm a very lazy person, but I can be bothered to check how to spell a word when I don't know how to spell it. Lazy spelling is a pet-peeve of mine.

I don't take a bus to work, I drive... oh I see what you mean. Possibly.

I did see it after, but I couldn't be arsed to mention it.

It is the American spelling, which is why I picked up on that specifically.

To be honest, mine too (and abbreviating things needlessly, as some people know). I don't think you can just attribute bad spelling to young people though, some older folk are abysmal at it as well (though I would agree that the main perpetrators are young people.)
