im sure many of you feel you have been 'affected' or 'offended' by my use of text language on here. im sorry but please stop posting abusive comments in other peoples threads about the way i type. as im sure many of the other users of this web site dont want to read your rants about my text language. im sorry if you dont understand, but all you have to do is ask me to rewrite my comment in correct english, instead of leaving me comments calling me a 'chav' ( you know who you are )
also, i am sick of people taking the piss out of my text talk (also, you know who you are ) by using numbers instead of letters. please stop all these nasty comments and i will continue to write in the correct english grammar, however, if you consistently compalin about the text language i use i will simply carry on using it. deal??!!

Nasha, I think when you use text talk, it's not so much that we don't understand - in this world of text, msn etc, we all pretty much get it, - but I think it makes you come over with a very different impression than perhaps you would want? Your messages above convey your thoughts/feelings so much better. So, deal??

For the record, I have no idea who you are or even noticed your txt spk. But you are only 20 posts in and going on a rant isn't going to make you anymore friends. You ask for people to ask nicely, yet you don't yourself. I know people can be rough on here but as a rule of thumb if you act nicely, you'll be treated nicely

That's a threat, not a compromise. Write how you like, but if you continue in a language that makes you sound stupid and childish people will treat you that way, and they will continue to comment on it. It's your responsibility to change, not ours.

No, because posting in proper English is perhaps the most basic (unwritten) rule of this forum. If you don't, Chris will eventually be forced to ban you (to put it bluntly).

Assume you have to post in correct English and no one will have a problem.

If you are texting someone or on MSN, by all means use text speak or MSN language, but not on this forum.

Sorry Nasha, it was me who mentioned it in the first place - I really didn't mean to be abusive. You're not the first by a long way, and you won't be the last to post with text wotsits, but its just better on here if we don't - that way everyone can understand, and get a better picture not just of what you are saying, but the tone with which you are saying it. Text talk makes everyone sound the same. Anyway sorry again, I didn't mean to offend you.

I can see your point, the test talk was very annoying but it has stopped now so that eliminates it as a topic of discussion.

Once you have been here for awhile you will realise its a nice little community and we get the odd person turn up with using text
talk all the time, saying they dont care they will still it and calling people names when it all gets too much for them (so your not the first)

Unofrtunatly for you, you are this person today. Read your posts through and then tell me you dont come across has having a big attitude also as having a short temper. if you want to argue with people use intelligent arguements and actually make it interesting rather than simply throwing names at them like "idiot".

By the way stating "If you .... then I will...." is always a threat if negative or a promise if positive and canot be interpreted any other way.

i do have a short temper and the big attitude may be a part of it but that is a completley different story and im sorry if i portray this in my comments, however, when i have people constantly telling me what to do and when to do it i generally loose this. so im sorry for taking this out on people. so is everyone going to be nice to me & vice versa?
