We were there on Saturday to see Derren Brown in Hammersmith and made a day of it. Did Madame Tussaud's and went to the Rainforest Cafe (which I'd never been to before and thoroughly recommend.)

My sister might be getting a job down there which would be fab. She could get loads of tickets to see the latest plays.

I think London would be OK to live in (if ridiculously expensive), but the problem is, it takes away the novelty of spending the day there.

the few times i've been in london, i got tired of it after a week. it's too big, noisy, and smelly. sort of like my uncle.

i like smaller places.

for what? oxford st. has a lot of shops. i was really disappointed last time i went to carnaby street- the merc was no longer mod mecca! it was impossible to find any decent mod clothing. ben sherman's gone the way of the trendy sleazoid.

I went down Oxford Street once, but there wasn't a great deal there from what I recall. Is there a big shopping centre anywhere?

like a mall? i went to a mall this weekend. i wanted screen protectors for my ds. they had nowt!

Camden is quite good, depending on what you want.

I went to West Edmonton Mall in Canada once... It had dolphins and a huge swimming pool with sh*tloads of slides and everything!

I might go on a random road trip tomorrow, as I like to do from time to time. Milton Keynes is on my shortlist.
