So what are everyones opinion's of the official World Cup song, "World at Your Feet"? Personally I think it's okay, not brilliant but not rubbish. Also, that bit on BBC Breakfast was priceless.

The Embrace song though, I just cant picture people screaming it all together during a game yet. Maybe after a few more listens it'll change my mind, but at the minute, it just doesnt have the same"thing" that the song Sidla suggested "3 Lions" or another one that seems to stick in my mind "Vindaloo" had.

They had perfect sing-a-long choruses, the Embrace song doesn't. Even though I'm half-Scottish, I think Vindaloo is a bloody fantastic song.

It's more of a song for those BBC football montages than something you'd chant on the terrace (like they said). It's not a bad song, just not really what I'd consider a World Cup song

The vid has everyone from Baddiel & Skinner, Soccer AM peeps, Sir Alan Sugar and I hate to keep repating it Madonna getting a football in the chops. It has taken the best part of about 2 months to do though!

It just seems like a normal Embrace song, there's nothing special about it. If they didn't keep saying it was the England song you'd never know.
And there's no way he'll hit those high notes when he's singing it live.

the bloody thing hasn't even been finished yet It was supposed to be last weekend, then today and now I'm told it'll be done this weekend. Its just the very nature of animation...it takes aaaaaaaages. Once we've got the vid done our manager can tout it to all and sundry. Hopefully, its the sort of video that wont be off The Box for a fortnight.
