Err I think I remember you moving threads that were Mills related into the General section because you clearly hadn't listen to Mills for quite some time to actually realise they were Mills related. No point being a moderator on a Mills site when it's obvious you hardly ever listen.

i dunno. kid's got his heart in the right place, but he's too much of a brown noser. i know i got put off with his hypocracy of whinging about this forum being off topic and dull and then checking out his forum, which is just as off topic and more dull. if he's got his army of sycophants, good on him. perhaps when he's a bit older, he'll see that diversity of opinion can be good.

Mills has hyped the site up though, something it took quite a while for Moyles to do.

In March the site got approx. 980000 hits.

'Hits' is a totally different measurement - this site got 8,000,000 hits last month - basically requests for files; be they graphics, pages, whatever. If he's reading the hits value from his stat software then he's either picking the largest number to brag, or he doesn't really understand what he's reading.

The number quoted on the front page (and on every page throughout the site) is the number of times that page has been viewed that month. Each page is a whole bunch of hits (actually reduced by caching on this site due to the common page design).

That's a good point Chris, if I were to count all hits on my site, I would have 76847 hits for last month, and 91338 hits (almost a tenth of the Mills site, which is scary) for the month before, although front-page only hits were 2284 (1131 unique) and 2186 (1152 unique) respectively.

I've never really been there, I had a glance at the front page a few months back, but Mills isn't really my kind of DJ (i.e. I think he's crap) and so never botherer going back, which, after reading numerous criticisms of the site, wasn't a bad idea.

Don't worry about it, they just don't like being attacked, so they try to better themselves. They picked out the topics they felt would make us look rubbish, and tried to throw some statistics around. They boast they have 1,500 visitors a day - so what? We have 1,200 and we've been around only a small % of time to them.

Seems to me, that Jono doesn't like being attacked either. And his reflex action? To do exactly what he claims that we are doing by banding about stats etc...

I know that I should really post a comment like that on his forum, but if he is going to be a coward and not say anything to our faces, I'll do likewise!
