In the wake of Gnarls Barkley achieving the first ever download only number one single yesterday and with physical sales decling more as time progresses, have you stopped using record shops?

I still would buy albums. It's not the same having an album that you've downloaded as having a physical copy.

I still use record shops.

Nothing beats a few hours walking round a massive HMV.

I've never met a guy who doesn't like wandering about HMV/Virgin aimlessly for hours yet they object to their girlfriends taking a wander round the clothes shops.

So do I. Even if I buy music, I usually do so online... but I do like browsing around record shops, it's fun.

Easier to do when the shop is actually open as well - no security and the old granny's who run them can't run after you, so no need to break the window during the night

I prefer buying CD to downloading, but only if it's an album. I like having the artwork and everything.
