mills got boring a while ago but then so did evans really

Moyles got boring on afternoons and I still prefer Scott's show now to the late days of Chris's afternoon show.

Evans will suffer because many of the current Radio 2 listeners will turn off and listen to local radio or 5 Live. Scott will suffer relatively badly though, as some Radio 1 listeners finally give up on the afternoon schedule.

I don't see that many moving to be honest. Sure they'll be a few, but I don't think it'll have too much of an effect

well in m y opinion scott will loes out as more ppl who listened to evans on 1's breakfast slot will try to relive some of those days but as i say its just my opinion

The people who listened to Evans on breakfast probably started listening to Radio 2 5 years ago to be fair.

He's going to loose more listeners than he will gain listeners, put it that way.

Radio 1 listeners might go to Radio 2 for Evans, but its not going really work the other way.

If it's the case I think that can only be good for the show - like some of you say - listening figures aren't always important. It means he'll probably put in more effort.
