They went on about the kaiser cheifs as much a couple of months ago. There will be another band that they will rant on about soon. Personally i dont think they are the worst thing i have heard. I can put up with them as long as i dont hear their tracks too much (how long that will last though i dont know...).

The Arctic Monkeys album is ten times better than the Kaiser Chiefs album.

It is an absolute joke that they are up for a Brit with that album.

No, not as much . . . bands come and go, like Kaiser Chiefs, like Franz Ferdinand, like Keane, who penetrate the national consciousness. But the breathlessness surrounding Arctic Monkeys is something I haven't seen since, erm, the Libertines.

Incidentally, I can absolutely see what all the fuss is about. But there's a danger that their popularity will match their merit, the balance of their aceness will tip, the ratchet will come loose, and we'll all end up with Monkey grease on the floor.

The Kaiser Chiefs is still a good album, I don't care what anybody says. Arctic Monkeys is also a good album.

i got the album, just before it came out and thought i was well over rated
but it is listenable

It's a good album, but some songs have the same sort of ring.
