nah im not sure. everton and fulham will be ok, i think the bottom 3 as it is. if we are to stay up everton or fulham will have to go down and that would be a big shock. even for birmingham city to go down is quite a turn up for the books.

I saw them this weekend... Two and a half hour drive for a 90 minute match. She thought it was worth it though, so it must have been. Personally, the hotel was the best bit.

Funniest bit was hearing the groans afterwards when it was announced that Everton won. We also went to drive round the outside of Goodison out of curiosity Gaspode, must say it doesn't look as impressive as Anfield. But it might be nicer on the inside and I'm sure it's paradise for you.

the area round goodison is much nicer than boarded up terraced housing though. Goodison isn't the greatest ground any more but i defy anyone to go to a night match there and not have a brilliant time.

Did you stop in the Radison then?

Yeah, it was nice. Breakfast was divine; they did white pudding, which I've never had before, but it's similar to black so I loved it.

We wanted to do the tourist thing and go on a boat on the Mersey but they weren't running on New Year's Day, so next time maybe.
