On another note, who the hell is the Crystal Palace chairman? I saw him on Sky Sports News not long ago and he's a right tosser, looks like he belongs in Duran Duran or something.

Closest team to me is probably Raith Rovers or East Fife, neither of whom are 20th.

It's amazing how much the quality of that club has declined. I remember back in the day when they were in the SPL and also when I went to see them play Bayern Munich, no chance of that happening now.

I cant belive that diving bastard, yet the defence worked ok when Beckham was off today. Was not their best performnce i agree, but better than the last 2 games. The ref was definatley against us. They kept trying to trip Owen, and once it went against them. But i did see plenty of oppertunities for more, and the time Owen was bashed into in the box was definatley a penalty. I was impressed with Lampard today though, Gerrard too. And Crouch played good, but i still think i would rather see the usual two up front than either Owen or Rooney playing along side Crouch. But i think his performance today has raised eyebrows over the question of three strikers, Crouch or Defoe?
Overall better than before, but they cant go into the world cup next year playing that way.

Gerrard was the only England player who looked like he cared today. Watching England at the moment is almost exactly like watchng Everton.

I missed the match cause I was at work, I taped it though so I'll watch it tonight. From what I've read on Teletext and stuff they played pretty poorly apart from Gerrard and Ferdinand.
