Was anyone elses Radio 1 broadcast just interrupted by some weird advert for some sort of sex line? During Scott's show when he played Sunset Strippers the song went off and an advert came on for about 30 seconds, then Sunset Strippers came back. Very odd.

I think thats the idea. It's an advert for the Sunday Surgery sex shows.

I wonder how many people have rang in asking what the hell all that's about? It sounded as if the broadcast had been interrupted.

They did the same thing during Spoony's show on Sunday morning as well... I assumed it was just my radio buggering up at the time. But obviously not.

It wouldn't be pirate interferance. And i have never heard a pirate station that advertises sex lines, chinese resturants mabie but not that. It went over all of the fm frequences and through the freeview feed and internet as far as i know. I dont know about listen again, but if it's to do with the sunday surgery then i guess it's on there as well. I wonder if people will complain?[/quote]
