As an example, last I heard at the jobcentre (or JobcentrePlus as it's now called, at a massive cost for new signs, logos etc when the actual service is no different), the Tories promised to abolish New Deal as it wasn't getting the results hoped for and it was a Labour initiative (the real reason if you ask me). A fine idea, except they'd only replace it with the same damn thing under a different Toriefied name. so really not much if anything would be different...

not all but most and thats the best you can hope for in any government. The Tories were different for 18 years there was no investment in our public services leaving hospitals, schools and other public bodies in desperate need of capital investment. the sad part is what labour has done will only be see in coming years.

you cant change everying in 8 years it isn't possible.. but I believe its still more than a tory government would have done.

Although I suppose a lot of people would just come up with ridiculous solutions.

Another thing I heard was that last august the UK were going to be allowed 4 weeks holiday not including public holidays to bring us in line with the rest of Europe, but that has now been put on hold until after the election, how are politicians allowed to change things to suit themselves, in this case probably to be added to labours manifesto! (I know, ANY of the party's would do the same)

i have voted in every election possible since i reached voting age but I must admit it must be annoying being a supporter of a party you know has no chance of winning your constituency. Proportional Represntation does seem attractive.

I quite agree, even more so when you look at the history of voting, to start there wasn't any, then it was for the 'ruling classes' then men only...... and now we can all vote as long as we're registered and over 18, I do think tht the voting age should be lowered to 16, as I believe teenagers are a lot more educated in the real world then people my age were in their teens, but thats only my opinion
