Didn't know this was coming... Good news! Will look it up later.

Oh, hello Benji, too.

I've seen them too, however, amazing is not the word I'd use. But I think it jumped the shark two series ago to be honest. If you've been enjoying it up til now, you'll still enjoy the new ones.

I have a lot of issues with Amy's character. I love Mayim Bialik though.

I am ambivalent about Amy too. I liked her when she was a female Sheldon, that worked. I don't like the needy wannabe bimbo with a girl-crush on Penny though. Makes her seem stupid, and much less believable than all the others.

I've quite enjoyed the character development of Amy, and her effect on evolving Sheldon's character into trying new things and attempting (but failing) to be slightly more accepting of people. I also think she does well in demonstrating what Sheldon would be like if he was (as he'd put it) flawed by emotions & social pressure.

Although it could be I've met quite a few girls who are very like Amy.

I love the obvious examination of the relationships between the various characters - Leonard and Penny, Howard and Bernadette, Amy and Sheldon and Raj and everyone - but the loveliest, most poignant and deepest relationship is between Penny and Sheldon. They really love each other, and I enjoy how that is done.

I agree. I also hate how they make Penny stupid for cheap laughs, cos I don't believe she is stupid. That sounds ridiculous considering she's a fictional character, but you know what I mean.

Obviously not like his mother dying, just something that would make him sad to see how people would react to cheering him up.

Would make a good heartwarming moment, which sitcoms love.

My favourite relationship is between Howard & his mother.

It happened with Penny when she didn't want to lose Leonard, with Raj when he lost Howard as a best friend, there's an instance, it's happened with Leonard with Raj's sister, it's happened with Bernadette vs Howard's mother & Amy with the bridesmaids situation :P not saying that it can't have a comedy aspect to it - we've just never really seen Sheldon in distress (over something more than a bird in the apartment). Would be nice to mix him in with more real world scenarios!

Also, I've just found my favourite TBBT t shirt site: http://www.sheldonshirts.com/official-t ... ts-page-1/, and potentially a new avatar:

also, Penny's clearly as dumb as a box of hats :P but she's got street smarts.
