Local clubs, bars.

I once got asked in Manchester if I knew a good coke dealer...

whytie wrote:Drugs are rife nowadays, whats the problem? Look at Docherty and Kate Moss as an example. Stop being a prude FFS! You give noobs a bad name!

I've actually been talking about this today, whilst sunbathing outside MK Bowl listening to Monsters of Rock.. While I accept drugs are a part of music and especially rock culture, I think it's becoming less cool than it used to be. You've only got to look at the public opinion of Pete Docherty, who, it seems to me, is generally thought of as a bit of a loser. He's a great musician, no doubt about it, but his smack habit lets him down.

Whereas 30 years ago, Elvis was hailed as a hero, but he had the same problem.

Could be worse. We could be plotting to kidnap Mills or another Radio 1 D-Jaaay.

Actually, that would be rather funny. But only if it was a stitch up of course.

Good publicity for the show and Unofficial Mills would have a field day.

I guess the point is, I don't want them so I don't ask. If I did want to get my hands on drugs I'd probably ask someone if they know (or know of) a dealer.

I feel weird talking about this. Which is a bit strange when you think about it- why should it matter?

You've not worked that out yet?

I've no desire to find out who I can get drugs from but if I did, I would be able to get them the same day.

Quite sad really

For the record, Moyles said the other day that he has never done drugs. It was either on air, or on the Xtra Factor on itv2. Cant remember where, but it was only a day or so after I read this thread, which was odd.
