mitchell & webb are great but this gameshow sketch seems to be a complete rip-off of adam & joe's 'Quizzlestick' idea.

The "Quiz Show that makes no sense" was around before adam and joe. Plus Adam and Joe's version had real people playing, where this is clearly a sketch

I believe Adam Buxton is actually involved with this program in some way, which might explain the whole "this quiz show sketch has been done before" scenario... but hey, THATS NUMBERWANG!

I read a blog by either Joe (or perhaps Adam) addressing the whole issue, and it seemed to suggest neither were involved as they were suprised when the sketch came to air at the similarities, but they said they weren't too fussed as they liked Mitchell and Webb anyway

Oh right... he's definately been busy lately... I think he WAS In Time Trumpet... which I thought was class, especially their version of Moyles on Rape An Ape... Maybe I heard wrong, entirely possible.
