Im on a look out for a good playout sistem. Im using Zara Radio now. Its good but it lacs some important things like intro counter and its difficult to look for tracks as it shows the actual names of the file not the ID tag. I also wonder if any of you knows what kind of playout system is used at radio1 ? I'd do loads to get to see the R1 studios...
I also 'd like to know how the song rotation thing works like. Is that a system that picks tracks randomly ? I'd be grateful for any information. Thank You

a system that has all them features is SAM Broadcaster, but this is not the one they use at R1

The one at R1 is a system called VCS, but it's been adapted especially for the BBC.

I got the same thing with songs lyrics. Its useless but its in my head !
