I understand that this forum is not really a place for what I'm about to ask tho loads of people here have an amaising knowledge almost about everything so i figured out that it won't hurt to ask.
But first some explaining (its quite complicated to put my question into english, so sorry if this thread is not clear)
I'm making a small project to my best mate. She's leaving Scotland and ill never see her again so as a "surprise" im making a CD for her with her favorite tracks. The thing is i also recorded all her best mates. They are leaving fair well wishes. It looks sth like that: http://netbase.pl/~darXes/random/trackone.mp3 and http://netbase.pl/~darXes/random/tracktwo.mp3
What i'm trying to achieve is contiuity of the tracks on CD (so there is no break between one track and the next one) but i want her to have a possibility to change tracks. Sorry it's not to clear even for me. Example. There are loads of albums that have tracks but they are mixed one int the oder and the only way to see that one track finnished and another started is by looking at the display of your CD player. I'd like to record my CD like that so there is a contiunity but looking at your CD display you can tell that one track finnished and other started. Sth like with MD players you can leave a mark on the disc and it;ll skip to another track at the marked point.
Hope my explanation is good enough. Please help. Thanks

On your CD burning software there should be a lead-in setting (it may be called something else like Pre-Gap) that is basically the length of silence after one track finishes and another starts. Setting it to zero will achieve a seamless (depending of how the tracks start/finish) transition from one track to another.

PS. Check your PM's

How about VCD, HDDVD, Flash Drive, Floppy Disk, Magnetic Tape, Laser Disk or 8mm Film? Alternatively, he may just not want to borrow whatever it was Quincy was offering.
