The real question is what is Rhys doing there. Rachael has quite a lot to do in the background... The higher in the chain you get, the less you tend to do.. which means that it's Rhys who's getting the Jolly in my book.

My best guess is that the BBC has some policy about "remote sites", and who can sign what on expenses forms and so on. Rhys is probably just there because he's senior enough to sign cheques and "be the face of the BBC" if the need arises... meaning he gets a Jolly
