I remember the first time I heard Baz Luhrman. I was in "Smith and Harpers" toy shop in Lerwick on a sunny Saturday morning in May 1999. I stayed in one part of the shop so I could hear Moyles on the radio, and they played this.

Couple of weeks later Chris was on breakfast and having an argument with Simon Mayo who was on after him at 9am about the song. Chris loved it, Simon hated it.... glory days

That was in the glory days when Chris could not only single handedly get a song released, but also get it to number one. He could probably still do it now, but doesn't tend to.
