My point from 2 weeks ago has finally been proved! I've just been to the Mills site and on there messageboard just 2 and half hours into the first 'Chris Moyles Show with Scott Mills' there have been 132 posts about the show! Remind me again why is this a fan site when it can't even manage 100 posts a week when Chris is on the air. This totally rubbishes the excuses given of "oh its to early people are going to work and school moan moan moan etc etc" Just shut this place down it was good in its day!!

No. What you're talking about is message boards. Forgetting the message boards, chrismoyles.net is far superior in terms of content.

This is a fan site because people who are fans of Chris Moyles come here to chat, about the show and other things of interest.

No it doesn't, there's a huge difference between making an effort for two weeks and the rest of the year (I forget exactly how many weeks Chris is on a year). Also, I've been told that the average age of UM members is lower than the average age of CM members, which, as it's half term, would mean they have more time on their hands than people that work for a living.

Why shut it down? If you don't like it here then no-one is forcing you to stay.

And this has been going for far, far longer - things discussed about Mills have already been discussed about Moyles.

Lets look at UM current posts:

How was your day?, Sara Cox: 'I'm so happy', Cool Google Video.., Jono for Mastermind etc.

If spotty teenagers want to get up at 7 in their school holidays and chat about Scott Mills show then fine.

It's only been since Moyles was at Breakfast that people under the age of about 16 showed up anyway.

I don't feel the need to defend this, but I'm bored.

Put it this way, there were more than 50,000 visits (people hitting the site, browsing, then leaving) to the forum in March - that's an average of more than 1500 per day.

Sites don't live and die by a big post-rush, as has been mentioned above.

That's everything up to Thursday done, I'll get t[…]
