Carrie should be barred from ever speaking other than the sport. You can hear her trying to hard to be speak/be funny and it doesn't work. I seem to remember Jules never trying that hard.
Not sure about Carrie, but the rest I totally agree with.
Dom is, as Gaspode once said, the new Greyhead. A comedy genius and the show without him is much, much poorer. If Chris ever leaves Radio 1 - Dom must go with him.
Aled is now as much a part of the shows history as anyone before him ever was - he's been there so long and has (inadvertently) produced so many of the shows great moments over the last five or six years.
Rachel though I am undecided on. When she first took over I was really pleased, but not anymore. She's clearly a nice woman and a very good radio producer, but she's just.. well, not funny.
I understand this is nowhere in her job requirement at all, so she can't be blamed. It's just producers like Ben, Rhys and Will had something about them.. they clicked with Moyles. Rach just clashes with him. Like the other day when she was a spoilsport and wouldn't sing karaoke on air. I just had this image of Will jumping at the chance.
I think deep down bosses must know Chris would be better with someone else in that respect, especially not a female. Like when they were looking at pictures of Melissa wotsherface and Rach was immediately there saying they were pathetic. Of course they are! That's what the show is! Beer, birds and boobs.
I think bosses don't want to switch the team and mess with the winning formula. On afternoons, people left the show quite regularly, and the team was changed. Bar Carrie for Jules, the team now is the same as it was two and a half years ago.
