I damaged my phone while drunk, and have decided it may be time to purchase a new one.

Was wondering if anyone can recommend a decent all round mobile that wouldn't cost the earth, or which phones to avoid? I was looking at the Motorola L6, as its only £100 on Ebay.

Any help at all, would be much appreciated!

Samsungs always seem to be in the hands of nearly every fag wielding female down local pubs.

The spec is good though, just not a phone thats gonna wow anyone with its appearance.

I think that for my price limitations, I'll be buying a pink razr motorola or a pink L6 from Ebay, sim-less.

I looked into the whole contract thing, but none of them seem text heavy enough for me apart from T-Mobile, which doesn't work on that silly island I have to occupy in for three months this summer.

Get a student contract with Orange, the phone is free and you get 1000 free texts a month.

i got orange sony erricson W800i for free with 1000 texts and 200 mins a month for 35 a month from orange website last november and it still works

Complete oposite with my area. At first i thought it was my phone, but my mums and most of my freinds' are the same. You switch it off then back on and it works.

I've got a new contract for £38 per month from 02 with 750 anytime free minutes and 400 texts which I thought was okay.

Its so much cheaper in America. When I was in New York for the 1st time I was shocked as local calls were free. They get away with murder in phone charges in the UK!

i pay $80 for two phones with 1500 minutes between them, 2000 txt, 40 picture messages (each), unlimited nights (after 7pm) and weekends, and unlimited in-network calls, which is nice because half my friends and family use the company. the company is evil, but oh well...
