i think its a bad choice. but never mind. I can tell you off the top of my head that they are nicknamed the magpies,were founded in 1881, their manager is glenn roeder, the captain is scott parker.they play at st james park,theyve won the league 4 times and the facup 6mtheir top scorer is alan shearer who scored 206 goals, they are sponsored by adidas and northern rock,michael owen is the record signing for the club and cost 17 million,woodgate was the record sale for 13.4 million and newcastle beat wigan today 2-1 with goals from the captain parker and ameobi

I think the key is the phrase "fail to beat" - its is an indictment of your lack of confidence when you can regard squashing 11 men into a goal in order to not lose as a victory. Good luck with it!
