I really can not belive tonights performance, no passion from the players all they care about is there £60,000 + at the end of the week, at least the cricket team play with passion.

If Sven relises he's f****d up, by playing dodgey tatics then hopefully he will learn from this, I would rather he f****d about now rather than in the World Cup.

But I do think he would have learnt a lesson tonight.

i think we will be very defensive and it will be annoying to watch. praying for rain. Jones will be a big loss and the aussies will be boosted by that and the return of mcgrath.

as for sven i cant see him being sacked, who would replace him? McClaren would be decent but i cant see him leaving boro. Big Sam would be good as well but cant see him going for it. and pearce has ruled himself out for 10 years (see my thread where i ruled myself out for 10 years, see what i did there?) anyway we will still qualify.

Sven wont be sacked, he has done well since taking over from Keagn, we were terrible when Kegan left.

He has just made a few mistakes which every manager makes.

Exactly. When I opened this thread I thought it would be full of stupid people saying he should now be sacked. He shouldn't, but it can't get any worse than tonight. Hopefully it will be the kick up the backside they all need.

God I'm hoping we beat the Aussies this weekend. Winning the Ashes would be amazing - obviously it wouldn't rank up there with any football World Cup, but it would certainly mean more to me than when we won the Rugby World Cup.

I thought he would of Saturday, we only just about beat Wales. There is no doubt there is some amazing talent on the feild, but it's just playing them right. If he does this again it is time we get rid of Sven, he is overpayed and overrated anyway. But give him 1 more chance, what the hell eh.

Why does every one love cricket all of a sudden? Just because England are doing well, it's still a crap sport like it always was.

Anyway, didn't watch the England game tonight, because, to be honest, I had a feeling I'd be wasting 90 minutes of my life, and it sounds as if I was right! For a team to have passion, the manager needs to have passion, he needs to care, know what to do when things go wrong, and be English of course!

The answer to our problems is simple: Stuart Pearce. He's everything that Sven isn't, and needs to be, knows the game inside out! But unfortunately, Psycho's contracted to City and he ain't going anywhere, not at least for 10 years apparently, but he will be England manager one day, trust me! If only everybody had realised 12 months earlier what a crap manager Sven is...

Yea, more or less the same happened with the rugby. But as soon as they played in 2004 and started to do bad. They dont want to know.

Yes, the passion in the last two Scotland games has payed off. Shame Miller dosent do that for Wolves. England need the passion, they have the skilled players. But they need an English manager who knows what he is doing, has passion himself and can install it back into the players. As for the fans, well they have never lost it. But I can understand them being pissed off like i am. But oh well! There is still a chance! As long as we change the way of play we can probably grasp it...

Them! lol You are kidding! They play good sometimes, then lose you down. I like to see them do well, but im also realistic with them. They are about to lose Miller I think, and Lescott wont be there for much longer. So they are about to get a lot worse...
