I'm ashamed to say I did listen to him for a brief while on XFM

I didn't mind his XFM show but found his other team members funnier.

I'm not suprised he's doing bad at Virgin, unless your a double act (Pete & Geoff or Russ & Jono) you seem to fail in that slot on their station. Steve Penk & Daryl Denham were got rid of far too soon (both were great, Chris even mentions Daryl Denham in his "thank you's" in the back of his book).

I went of Christian O'Connell the moment he had a go at Moyles for no particular reason, I know Moyles does this but as he said it's all in jest. O'Connell seemed to just centre around the fact that our fine DJ is of the larger variety

Making another thread would have been unforgiveable, I considered it though, but since this one rages on I thought I'd report that the muppet has challenged the Moylester to the DJ Weakest Link special. And I thought his wee little heart was all set on Yorkshire Tea-V studios at Countdown! Should the saviour go head to head with that queen, or politely decline to Anne - thanks all the same?

The Countdown thing is stupid anyway, they've been made Stephen Fry a strong contender for the job and can you ever see him wanting to do it? Yeah he does QI but also films, radio, writing etc and if he did Countdown he'd be doing that day in, day out- can't see him wanting to get stuck there no matter how much they offer him.

Personally i'd like to see Roy Walker get the job! "Is that a word? really?"

I think Comedy Dave would be good as the new Countdown host. Especially with the numbers game. Carol Vodafone would like him I think.
