I went to see the Weather Man last week, it was quite good, kind of thought provoking. I should get me a cinema pass, it was like £4 to go the once, but £10 for a month.

The really are worth it them card, I have one, and seeing 3 film in one month covers the cost for it. I've seen Lucky Number slevin 3 times this month so far, as well as Hills have eyes...and something else I cant remember...

But yeah, they're definately worth the money.

I went to see the Matador last night with Pierce Broslan which was okay but am not sure I'd have paid £6 to go to see it.

The good thing about having a card is that if youy go to see a film that's a dud you can justify it by telling yourself at least you didn't pay to go to see it. Thats how I justified Date Movie.

Where do you go to the cinema. Unless it's cheap night it's something like £6.20 a film round here! i wish it was £4 - I'dgo much more often!

Think giggleboots must have a student card or she might have gone offpeak. Think its cheaper then. I know in Glasgow on a Saturday you are generally paying about 6 quid. Its a disgrace considering the extra money they get from you for drinks, sweeties, popcorn etc!

Just been on UCI and Odeon websites, neither seem to offer a card for a monthly fee.

Dissapointing.

I got my card last year from the UGC which is now Cineworld. I pay £10.99 per month direct debit. Is there not a Cineworld near you? We've a massive one in Glasgow. Its meant to be one of the biggest in the country.

Just been on their site, none down here by the sea in Bournemouth.

It's all Odeons here, even UCI have been taken over by them now.

£6.30 every time, £11 a month sounds great.

Vue is HUGE now.
Vue now own Warner Cinemas, ABC, Belle Vue, Ster Centruy and the last remaining Virgin Cinemas.
All that is left in competition now is Odeon and UGC. Its practically a monopoly.

They've not come to Glasgow city centre now. Think UGC have changed to Cineworld.

Is that in an Xscape? I think I saw them advertising that in the MK Xscape at the weekend - MK was one of the first but there are getting more and more I think.

The odeon in manchester is £4 with a student card. If you go on Orange Wednesdays with a mate, its £2. Bargaintastic.

Yes its a Xscape. Apparently people in Glasgow are avid cinema goers (prob cause of the sh*t weather) and they chose to put the big cinema here as a reward.

I hate orange wednesdays. Its far too busy with the bargain tickets. Its actually busier sometimes than Fridays and Saturday nights.
