Ted: Where did you live?

DP: Milton Keynes.

Ted: Very nice. All those roundabouts…

DP: And all the concrete cows, right? Although I managed to miss all the concrete cows when I was there!

Hmm, I never saw her.. Shame.

This US GP is a bloody farce.

this idea where they want to add a chicane to one of the fastest corners in F1 because the teams refuse to run with penalties for changing tyres is f**king stupid... especially as ITV says Ferrari are firmly against it.... they can't be if they aren't in the meetings.

The FIA have the right idea rejecting even the possibility of a change to the track layout, but I think under the circumstances, reduced or waived penalties are in order, as the only mistake the teams have made was having dodgy tyres allotted to them by the supplier, which isn't their fault as such.

best to just get on with it and give michelin hell later IMO

One thing you can count on though, however the weekend goes, SOMEBODY will try to blame Ferrari if it goes badly.

what about how we scrap f1 racing altogether and make the overpaid prima donnas get real jobs, all a bunch of twats

I could say the same about footballers, who are far more overpaid primadonnas than ANY F1 driver....

are they f**k?

F1 does have Down To Earth drivers... most of the brits that have competed over the years for a start.

Jensen just believes he can win, which he can and will eventually, just maybe not in the near future... if you don't believe that much there's no point in racing.

Also in this case, I think most of the drivers obviously wanted to race....

however there are some AR**HOLES of team bosses such as Ron Dennis, that have been unable to come to a solution and therefore ordered their drivers not to race. I think the drivers should be able to do it, taking the risk as Coulthard among others was willing to do.

in usual circumstances maybe, but they had ZERO input at all in this situaton, it's down to stupid team bosses and FIA stupid rules.

putting stuff in capital letters still doesn't make it right. nine teams out of ten agreed.... which one didn't?
User avatar

only coz they werent in the meetings at all.

Ferrari didn't want to get involved and were willing to go with whatever solution the others came up with... IF the others had managed it.

What are Ferrari doing that's so bloody wrong there?

also two of those nine are running, so some agreement that turned out to be.

I think it would be right for fans to get their money back, but from Michelin directly, with a massive fine for the idiot team bosses that couldn't get it together. that said the FIA are also at fault, but not the drivers or the actual speedway owners and promotors.

Johnny Herbert is perhaps the most likable character ever to have been involved in F1 I reckon.

and his former Jaguar teammate Eddie Irvine in my book. I think it's good if Irvine ends up buying Jordan from Midland.
