Similarly, if you go to China, you won't generally find anything similar to what we see in restaurants here. As I found out to my cost.

I was taken out for a meal in Beijing once at a former Emperors palace. Because I was a Westerner I was automatically afforded the highest status at the table. This meant I got served a whole fish head in my soup ... apparently considered the "most desirable part of the fish" - everyone else got all the lesser parts (you know, like the body). Thanks China.
