Anyone see this great documentary on this history of Radio's link with TV (mostly BBC) tonight? Started off exploring the relationship with the two mediums in accordance with comedy - Little Britain, Alan Patridge, Hancock's Half Hour etc, then a large focus on Radio 1 and it's stars - showing the rise and fall of the station.
Interesting though it was, it hasn't really shown the rise from the fall post-evans with the Moyles/Mills generation, and it really hit home how Radio 1 has only just recovered in the last few years from the mass cull of the early 90s. Dissapointed to see Moyles not involved at all, not even as a talking head as you'd think he'd be jumping at the chance to get involved, considering how much of a radio geek he really is - they even had Christian O Connell on for goodness sake!
That said, it was very good for anyone remotely interested in Radio or Radio1 - the Chris Evens section in particular showed him up to be a *
