On Friday I done something 'old'....
I watched Restoration Village on BBC 2!
Never seen it before, but this show was of interest to me, as one of the buildings featured is part of my personal history.
The Twine Works at West Coker was the last place my grandad worked before his death a few months after, and my mother and my late step father tried to buy it some years ago.
Well, I wasn't going to put the number on here, until I went on the forums and seen people moaning about restoring a factory, when there is a chapel in Newlyn that needs restoration.
My view is that some people may be attempting to manipulate the vote, I may be wrong, but as far as I am concerned a Factory is more historically important than a chapel.
