I finaly managed to listen to Chris's first ever show in the morning. I've never heard the show in the afternoon but what i noticed is that the show from 2004 was much more dynamic and funyer then nowadays. Im not exactly sure where to place it but i think though the links were much shorter the jokes and conversations were far more funny than now. And this is a suprise for me as im not really a person that likes to moan about Moyles show. I just take it as it is as i think Mr Moyles is a radio genius and i have never found a better show on any other radio station. So what might be a reason? Is he getting older or maybe its me?

The moan when he moved to breakfast was that the links wouldn't be as long as they were in the afternoons.

You're also only comparing "nowadays" against "one single show", that being very the first breakfast show at that. I'm sure many stops were pulled out on that morn to make it as funny and dynamic as it was in order to hit the ground running.

I'm not sure why the show should be expected to stay the same for any length of time.

I've never suggested that. I've siply noticed the difference and wanted to find out what other people think

The longer links aren't as good.

I think if you look back it was one of the things asked to Aled and he said Moyles would only agree to it with his format or some such thing.

How anyone can be complaining about Moyles when the current alternative offered by Radio 1 is Nihal, I can't imagine.
