The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Should Mills be tied to the front of a truck and paraded so that people can pelt him with fruit?

To be fair, when Mills isn't doing his show, I bet thats what he gets up too with Laura. "Hurt me Laura, make me bleed!"

I'm getting used to him - I actually kept him on this morning, although I had to turn off the American Phonebook bit, that is appalling.

I can't decide if I hate Scott Mills more or less than I hate Chappers. Luckily, I have enough hate to go around.

What I dislike most about the show is that the gags always seem to be at someone's expense. I guess the same could be said about Chris Moyles' humour, but I think that's more directed to the famous ... and Aled ... both of which are fine by me. Mills seems to target the public more and just seems a more bitter personality.

What I dislike next most is the relience on the phone. Seriously? We're STILL doing crank phone calls in the 21st Century? Dear God.

Next on my list of things to dislike about the show -- Laura's diary, or specifically the personality-free drone they get to read it out.

I'm not a fan.

I wouldn't use the word hate, I mean, its only a radio show, lets not get carried away. But everything else you say......oooooh yes.

You don't have to apologise to me Fowler, to be honest, I think its less to do with a difference in the strength of our opinion, more to do with a difference in the definition of hate! I don't think I would be capable of hating anyone I hadn't actually met and been personally wronged by. And to be honest, even then I tend to be quite a forgiving sort of person....there have been people that I have hated in the past, but right now there isn't anyone - although there is one person who comes pretty close, and I need to at least find a way to start wanting to forgive that person, even if I can't actually do it....ah well.

Scott Mills is crap! All the first week all he said in every link was "Hi I'm Scott Mills, in for Chris Moyles" then played another 8 songs; occasionaly stopping to read out someone's diary, and phone some people.

You make a compelling case, keg, and I for one can find no fault in it. Although, to be fair, he did play the same clip from a holiday show four or five times in a minute. He then played a record and had the exact same conversation with "Chappers" -- cue replaying of holiday clip another dozen or so times.

Exactly: no material, no talent. As well his voice, I know he can't change it but its rubbish, in the morning its like hearing an old person eating loudly, and that isn't what I want when I wake up.

what really winds me up about Mills is the way he feels the need to be faux-straight and discuss meeting girls etc. I realise it's meant to be an 'in joke', but I think it could be interpreted as a bit insulting to gay people that he won't speak openly about it in the same way Aled does (and by that I only mean references like "if I meet a guy..." like the way Aled talks of "Mr Aled", not going on great rambling political diatribes) and I just don't see how it's funny.

That's everything up to Thursday done, I'll get t[…]
