The thing about radio 1 in the daytime is that you have pretty much the same playlists on all the shows from Moyles to Scott Mills - so the music is not an issue, what you listen for is to be entertained by the presenter. And Jo Whiley has no discernible personality, so her show is boring, simple as that. I enjoyed it when she was on hoiday and Sara Cox did her show. I like Coxie, she is clever, funny, a bit unpredictable and rude. Jo Whiley is just bland................

I agree with the comments that Jo Whiley is boring. I used to be really interested in the Changing Tracks and Live Lounge but now dont even seem to bat an eyelid when they come on. Ive found in recent months that I've become increasingly bored with Radio 1 playing the same songs day in day out its on at work. Edith doesnt stick so rigidly to the playlist and I pay more attention to her show in the afternoon because her personality seems to come across better.
